Birthstone Down Syndrome Awareness Bracelets

Each person has 46 chromosomes except in the case of DS each person has 47 chromosomes. This is commonly called Trisomy 21. We get 23 from our mother and 23 from our father. In the case of Down syndrome they get an extra chromosome, whether it be from their mother, their father or during regeneration of the chromosomes where one gets sticky.

Each bracelet has 47 beads. The 21^st chromosome is represented by the 3 larger jewels. These bracelets are made from Swarvoski crystals and Swarvoski pearls.

You will have the choice of the heart clasp or the magnetic clasp.
